With a background in industrial design, graphic arts and post-production, Alejandro started working as creative in an agency in Uruguay. In that role he won several awards, including Uruguay´s first Golden Lion. He then became VFX Creative Director at Metropolis Films, quickly moving on to direct short films and commercials. He joined VFX production house Aparato in 2010.
Ale´s unique style and deep involvement in every project deliver great results every time. He wrote and directed the viral short film M.A.M.O.N. (Monitor Against Mexicans Over Nationwide) winning more than 50 awards and shortlisted in over 200 festivals worldwide. Alejandro’s work won several international awards such as: FIAP, Ojo de Iberoamérica, Ciclope and Cannes, where he won a Bronze Lion as a director.
