WHY FILM IN CHILE
Chile offers outstanding filming locations, ranging from classic and modern architecture to natural landscapes with snow-capped mountains, lakes, ocean beaches, and deserts. With seasons opposite to those in the Northern Hemisphere, it is possible to shoot snowy scenes or winter sports while it is summer north of the equator.
WHEN TO GO
Northern Chile offers comfortable conditions year-round. In the central and southern regions, snowy scenes can be filmed from June to September, while from January to March the weather is ideal for outdoor filming.
HOW TO GET THERE
Most airlines operate daily flights to Santiago de Chile, the country’s capital, as well as to other destinations within Chile. There are also daily flights to Los Angeles.
